Cutting back to our mares that also dressage and to make our move easier. Blakka is a large drafty 13.3 hands with a 6 1/4 inch mouth- my almost 6' tall husband is not too small for her. She is NFHR registered. Bombproof- I've ridden her over feedbags, my husband has taken her thru ponds, up and down grades in the woods and past flapping wild turkeys. She's used to dairy goats, big dogs and alpacas in her pasture. Excellent ground manners, ez to load, trailer, etc. We let kids ride her in the roundpen. ridden western and english. typical of fjords ridden barefoot. She is 19, fjords often go to about thirty and she looks much younger. She's still young enough to breed a couple more times.
